Ombre Mania

Ombre color is everywhere this season, and I love it!! It’s a darker to lighter graduation from roots to ends. The roots are darker and blend into a lightened mid-shaft and end. I love this look on blondes and brunettes! Ombre and balayage (another color technique that is more natural and sunkissed looking), is my favorite to do in the salon! It is such a personalized color that no one will have but you!

I haven’t colored my hair in about 6 months and it looks like I have my own ombre, not purposefully, just too lazy to get it done! It could be a little lighter on the ends though for more of the effect!

Hair Inspiration

I have been itching for something new and love the look of all of these haircuts..

something messy, short and fun. I have been trying to grow out my hair but its in the terribly awkward ugly stage, so I may just chop chop when I have the urge. We'll see. . . for now its just inspiration.

Maybe it'll calm the urge if someone came into the salon and got one of these cuts, i love short razor haircuts!

Halloween Shoot

I am not one to usually dress up for Halloween, its been years actually I would say. Photo booths are always fun, I've usually seen them at weddings but there was one at the Halloween party we went to and it was a blast. We got to show our true character. My husband was a nasty white trash man (he wanted me to join the theme with being asian/white trash.) I wasn't a fan of the idea. I wanted us to be Pocahontas and John Smith.. I have an obsession with her. He didn't want to do that, so he did his own thing and I was Lady Luck, which was fun to be. Here are some fun pictures of the night.

Fashion Time

Lately I have been really wanting a white ceramic watch, they are so fashionable and i love them. I believe Chanel was one of the first, if not the first to start this trend. Although I would love one of these several thousand dollar watches, its not going to happen. I began looking around for watches that were similar but more in my price range. Here are some I loved that were more than I could afford or less expensive, for us who can't afford Chanel. I ended up buying the Fossil plastic one, looks very similar to ceramic I thought but more in my budget.
Chanel $5800

Michael Kors $450

Fossil Ceramic $225

Fossil Plastic $95

Francesca's silicone $18

I am a married woman

One month ago today, I was standing at the alter saying my "I do's." It is amazing how fast time flies, I am just in awe of how amazing married life is. I really enjoy being a wife, getting married was a good choice. I think one of the things I was the most scared of was cooking. I have been pampered my whole life with my mother's amazing cooking. She has basically been my own personal chef always making meals for me and my lunches for work). I would say I don't have much experience. PB & J anyone?! I surprised myself in how much I actually love cooking. Seeing someone enjoy something I make is a wonderful thing. So far, some dishes I have made have been enchiladas, stroganof, manicotti.. to name a few of the really nummy ones!

Brandon is trying to teach me to be more frugal, I love that about him. If he wasn't cautious about money, we would be in trouble. It has been so wonderful living with my best friend, someone who is so kind and loving. It has amazed me how natural it felt living with someone else, having never moved out of my parents home.

some things i have really enjoyed this past month:
-rushing home from work to make a meal for brandon
-painting and decorating, making it "us"
-having the same 3 days a week off work to spend with eachother
-spending hours at the grocery store
-entertaining friends
-waking up next to my man

I am just so excited for many years together and the adventures we will have as husband and wife.
